Refunds & AppSumo purchases — which terms apply

Two purchase routes, two rulebooks — here's which is which, plainly:

• Bought on this site (license key via the pricing/billing pages): our terms of service and the billing page apply — including our direct-sale refund line: "Changed your mind? One-click refund, no questions asked — email [email protected] and we'll refund your payment and revoke the key."
• Bought through AppSumo: AppSumo's standard terms apply to your purchase, including its 60-day money-back guarantee. Refunds are processed by AppSumo on their side. When AppSumo notifies us of a refund, the associated code's license is revoked; for a stacked account the tier steps down by that code's contribution (Team → Pro → Free) and your other code stays honored. Your projects and reports remain on your account at the stepped-down tier.
